By Bus
47 / 48 (Shiregreen > Herdings)
You can catch this service in town from Sheffield Interchange, Furnival Street, Charter Row (behind Debenhams) or Cumberland Street (bottom of the Moor).
The service originates from Shiregreen and goes through Firth Park and Pitsmoor on the way into town. Between town and the field, the 47 service goes through Heeley past Heeley City farm, the 48 service goes down Heeley Bank Road / Olive Grove Road. You should get off at the Constable Road / Constable Close stop as this is the shortest walk to the field. Follow the walking map below from the bus stop to the field:

79 (Ecclesfield > Jordanthorpe)
You can catch the 79 in town from High St, Pinstone St, Charter Row (behind Debenhams) or Cumberland St (bottom of the Moor, opposite the Moorfoot tavern).
You should get off at the top of Blackstock Road (junction with Hemsworth Road) This is the last stop before the Hemsworth Road roundabout.
The service originates from Ecclesfield and goes via Hillsborough and Owlerton (B&Q) into town. It takes around 24 mins from town to the Blackstock Road stop. Follow the walking map below from the bus stop to the field:

20 and 20A (Hillsborough > Hemsworth)
You can catch the 20 or 20A from Arundel Gate or Charter Row (behind Debenhams) in town. These services go via Heeley Retail Park, Woodseats (20A) or Norton Lees (20) and take about 27 mins from Arundel Gate.
You should get off on Hemsworth Road just after the water tower (before the roundabout with Blackstock Road).
The service originates from Hillsborough Interchange and goes through Pittsmoor, Burngreave and the Wicker on its way into town.
17 and 17A (Sheffield - Norton Lees - Gleadless - Manor Top - Carbrook - Meadowhall - Fox Hill - Hillsborough)
This is a circular route that goes all over the city but will eventually get you to Hemsworth. It takes it's time but you don't have to change buses.
Car/bikes
Here is a map showing the location of the CSA. There is some parking along Lightwood Lane near the CSA. It is quite a strenous cycle ride. If you need a lift or can offer a car share please contact us.
